Worthy Questions ~ Guidance for Navigating Care, Costs, and What to Expect with Private Duty Nursing.
What is private duty nursing, and how is it different from home health or other care services?
Private duty nursing is one-on-one, professional nursing care provided in your home. It’s flexible, client-directed, and can include both clinical services and wellness support — tailored to your needs.
Who can benefit from your services?
Adults of all ages — not just seniors — including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, seeking wellness guidance, or needing temporary nursing care at home.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, Worthy Care is a private-pay service. This allows us to offer more personalized care without the constraints of insurance billing. We’re happy to provide invoices you can submit to an HSA/FSA or for out-of-network reimbursement.
What areas do you serve?
Melissa primarily serves the Greater Pittsburgh area, and specifically North Park, Wexford, Franklin Park, Bradford Woods, Mars, Cranberry Township, Cranberry, Marshall Township, Ross Park, Zelianople, Butler County, Gibsonia, and Treesdale. If you’re unsure whether your location is included, just reach out!
Can you help me understand my options or coordinate with other providers?
Absolutely. Melissa is an experienced patient advocate and can help you or your family navigate healthcare decisions, coordinate care, and communicate with your medical team.
To do this, she may need your verbal or written consent to speak with doctors, specialists, or family members involved in your care. This ensures compliance with HIPAA, which protects your private health information. Melissa will always explain what’s needed and request your permission before sharing any details. Your privacy, trust, and comfort are top priorities.
How do I schedule a visit or learn more?
